Privacy notice

This notice explains how Globex Payment Services Corp. (“Globex”, “we”) handles personal information collected through this website.

Globex is a pre-launch company. This website does not open accounts or process payments, and it does not collect the information required to onboard a customer. If you later become a customer, a separate notice will describe how information is handled in that relationship.

What we collect

  • What you send us. When you use the contact form or write to us by email, we receive what you choose to provide: your name, company, email address, country and the content of your message.
  • Technical information. Our hosting provider processes the data needed to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of each request.
  • Language preference. The site saves your language choice (English or Spanish) in your browser so it is remembered on your next visit. It is not sent to us.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and this site does not load third-party trackers.

How we use it

We use the information you send us to answer your enquiry, to understand whether our services may be suitable for you, and to keep a record of our communications with you. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who processes it for us

We rely on service providers to run this website and our mailboxes: Cloudflare, Inc. (website hosting and security) and Google LLC (Google Workspace email and documents). They process information on our behalf and may do so in Canada, the United States and other countries where they operate, where it is subject to local law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond to them and to maintain our business records, and for any longer period the law requires.

Your choices

You can ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, such as having your information deleted. Write to privacy@globexpaymentservices.com and we will respond after confirming your identity.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the data protection authority where you live.

Keeping it safe

Access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it to respond. Please do not send identity documents, bank details or other sensitive information through the contact form or by ordinary email. If we need documents from you, we will tell you how to send them.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice as Globex moves from pre-launch to operation. The date at the top shows the current version.
